The Treaty of Waitangi

 In 1840 on the Bay of Islands, the sixth of February, the Treaty of Waitangi was signed. There were two versions of the treaty, Māori and English.

    Ka mau ta pai Atawhai! You included some very important facts and I totally agree, it would have been extremely difficult to understand something not written in your own language (or translated poorly).
